Good data can help you evaluate your library, advocate for it and plan for the future. The WSL Library Development Office collects and publishes statistics on Wyoming school libraries, organizes links to other state and national data sources, and offers assistance with finding and using data.
The Annual School Library is a voluntary survey sent out each spring to collect data that is then used by school librarians for advocacy purposes. The data includes statistics about school library staffing, funding, collections, and library usage. The survey data is available for individual schools in spreadsheet format and in Word format as statewide summarized data. Data is available from past years as well.
